Bluesky announced 1.104 a update that focuses on notifications. The update adds the following:

• Activity notifications

• Repost notifications

• New notification settings

Activity notifications

Activity notifications let you opt in to receive push notifications when a Bluesky account publishes a new post.

To use activity notifications go to any accounts profile page and click the bell icon next to the follow button. One that account makes a new post, you will receive a push notification, so you never miss a post.

Repost notifications

Receive notifications when someone likes or repost a post you reposted.

New notification settings

Control what notifications you see from likes, follows, repost and more.

By default you will receive notifications from everything, this new update lets you cut down on notifications. You can pick from the following:

• Everyone: Receive notifications from everyone

• People you follow: Receive notifications from people you follow

• No one: Don’t receive notifications at all
